Introduction
Sensory Environment Design (SED) enables our customers to “enhance their everyday
experience” in both residential and commercial spaces. We design and implement technology
for digital signage, home theater, lighting control, automation, environmental controls, security,
and distributed audio / video, along with the structured wiring and related infrastructure to
support technologies today and tomorrow. We pride ourselves on our track record of effective
collaboration with architects, designers, general contractors, and all building trades involved in
residential and commercial projects. We work to deliver outstanding outcomes for customers and
end users.
SED is a true solution provider, committed to excellence and total customer satisfaction. We
build relationships (not merely transactions) with our customers, from initial design through
post-implementation user training and ongoing education. In this way, we ensure that our
systems function as designed, and our customers have the knowledge required to operate and
maintain those systems over time.
Customer Care and Service
The leadership of SED is committed to
building a profitable, sustainable business by
offering our customers keen attention to their
unique needs, unsurpassed technical expertise,
and integrity in all that we do. Customers get
direct attention and hands-on participation
from a partner in our business. Therefore, our
management is always intimately connected
to our projects, and our customers benefit
from direct access to our most seasoned professionals,
who are ultimately responsible for
the success of your project and the ongoing
success of our company.
Beginning a Relationship
Our service relationships begin with
introductory meetings in which SED seeks
to understand the customer’s needs and
situations, and presents our capabilities to
meet them. The introduction is mutual;
before we begin to suggest a solution, we
need to know as much about our customer
as we do the application. If we agree that
there is a basis for continued exploration,
SED will prepare a rough solution sketch
and preliminary scope of work (typically to
a budgetary range (+/-25%)).
