The Turin is SED's revolutionary HD Bike Trainer, developed for avid cyclists who are looking to get more out of their indoor training schedule. The Turin surrounds the cyclist with the latest technology, engaging all of your senses from the seat of your bike. From the High Definition Plasma, to the computer powered resistance hub (which automatically adjusts tension to the course you're riding.) the Turin not only makes the time pass faster, but can give you the competitive edge you'll need to win your next race. Surround sound, dual fans, and 1080p resolution take a bit of the sting out of daily treks.
Riders can go solo, or race friends or family members by adding
another resistance hub unit, and track both riders progress at once. Use your own bicycle, and set the course to your next race - experience what training was meant to be.
The Experience:
The computer can be used to browse the internet, read your email, an e-book, or adjust settings on the trainer while riding. The Turin™ comes with a simple interactive control panel which allows the user to select from the various sources available as well as control the environment of the room. Without moving, the user can customize his or her experience to be exactly how they want it. It is easy to create "scenes" where the system will recall your favorite settings, whether that be between different users or different types of training rides (if you are training for Kona, you might crank up the heat and the lights and turn off the fans to simulate the oven of the Hawaii lava fields)
Easy and fun are two words that describe the system; however they may not always describe the physical workout you have undertaken, but when you are laughing to your favorite scene in The Big Lebowski, or cranking out your favorite concert in surround sound you might forget about that 10% grade with a headwind you have simulated...temporarily.

The Turin™ is offered with upgrades that address some of the logical next steps for someone who has made this investment. For the serious athlete we offer the option of cameras that will allow you to analyze position, pedal strokes, and biomechanics for your coach, doctor, or master bike fitter to look at.
